This wasn't on my radar at all, but I downloaded the demo and wow! This is now at the top of the old want pile.

Has anyone else played it, and what did you think?

I'm not usually a fan of racing games (I suck at them). What's particularly good about this one? I had a quick go the EG Expo last year, and thought it was good but not my thing.

It's like Burnout crossed with Modern Warfare. If that doesn't do it for you, then I can't help. People like different things I guess. Some people like Lost Planet for crying out loud...

I've heard it's more like Fallout 3 crossed with PJ Winterbottom and Killzone, with a soupçon of Flatout: Ultimate Carnage wrapped in Tubaruba and a light garnish of Street Racer.

Can you play private matches? I'm rubbish (like, really rubbish) at driving games, but I feel I should give this a shot before then getting annoyed and trading it for Alan Wake.
