Agreed, it looks very swish. Only thing I'd add is battle damage. I love battle damage. But that's just personal opinion mate, it looks ace as it is.

what sort of battle damage were you thinking of?

see personally i dont like battle damage on space marines, they meticulously repair their armour after esach conflict, honouring the spirit within with unguents, lapping powder and repaisrs until they are satisfied that it will protect them again. on armies such as orks and chaos marines, battle damage can look awesome.

if you really want to do battle damage there are some good guides on the net for it and in GW how to paint books.

essentially, its painting small flecks of the armour black, then silver in the middle, leaving a small anmount of the black showing around the edges.

I mean bullet holes and sword/claw cuts. As in they got them right there, mid battle. I also like dirtying marines up, painting mud and the likes up their boots and legs. I throw some blood flecks in as well, but the most important rule about that is LESS IS MORE!

But yeah, you're right. Marines do repair and look after their armour. It's just a personal preference
